Moto Metals. Cant Decide!

So the build is coming along nicely. Stubbs sliders are coming, the 1.2 Sonoran kit is on its way and the 5.29 gears are getting ordered today and sent out to be cryogenically treated. I will be running 35's in either a Trxus M/T or SSR in a 35X10.5X17.

I like the look of 17's and dont wheel as hard as a lot of the nicely built rigs on this forum. Mostly deep backcountry goat trails/ forest roads here in California that lead to gorgeous areas few can get to. Or know how to. I digress....

There are so many wheels to choose from I cant decide.

I've always liked the all black look but not sure if it will bode well with my metallic green paint. So the pro comp 7005's are at the bottom of the list. I am mostly partial to the Moto Metal 909's. How cool is it that the wheels have skulls in them. Flame on but I think they are very cool and unique! and I think it might look a little better with aluminum and black in the wheel. Best of both worlds?

Thoughts?

Another shot of the moto metal 951's and a 20" version of the 909. I really just dont get the whole 20" and larger wheel market.

Brodozer? That doesnt sound good. Is that kinda like a Bromance? Never heard that one. Please do enlighten me.

I do like the one you are reffering to. I dont want my rig to look poseurish. Its going to be my adventure vehicle and should look as such.

"Brodozer": NOUN. A vehicle, typically a full size truck, that is lifted and adorned with various "off-road" accoutrements, but without the intent to ever actually be taken off road. They are usually covered in chrome and flames, or completely "murrrdrrd out" (blacked out). It is usually covered in various motorsport or MMA stickers, and driven and inhabited by bro.

What is a bro, you ask? Taken from UrbanDictionary.com: "a usually white young male, found commonly in places like san bernardino county in california, as well as orange county. always, without exception, drive big lifted trucks, often white. has the name of their crew or whatever in big white letters on their back window (ie, "skin", "metal mulisha". wear: trucker hats off center or New Era hats with the bills ironed flat, plug earrings, sunglasses, wife beater shirt or no shirt, sagging dickies shorts, high black socks, skater shoes or those black corduroy slipper things, have a lot of tatoos of things like stars."

Friends don't let friends drive brodozers...

i really dont get the high black socks thing... socks are weird!!!
want to see a bro? come to el cajon, california. you will see SO MANY of them its ridiculous. i think ive already shared bout my bro buddy with the F150. long travel suspension, big swamper tires, cali lift (lifted more in front than back) exhaust, yada yada, and the one time i parked it on the dirt he got all pissed off and threatened to kick my ass. (cuz he doesnt want his baby to get scratched and dirty). i simply told him that he knows and i know that i would whoop him any day of the week so stop threatening me with a good time. they love trucks like this:

hahaha! I know what you mean! Thats some funny ((EDIT))

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. LOTS and LOTS of street princesses (Brodozers) around here that will never see a dirt road much less a mud bog. Whats the friking point of spending allll that money just to "look" cool. Especially in Santa Cruz where I live in the short board surf scene. I'm an old school longboarder myself.

I am originally from Portland, Oregon, and grew up in the woods hauling firewood in the winter and wheeling in the summer. And can tell you that only until the past few years when this 22"-28" wheel craze came along, any 4wd in my hood was used for its intended purpose. I plan to do the same.

I am going to get the skull wheels and have the shiny portions painted flat black....maybe. Now I am parnoid I will still look brodozerish even if I do that. Meh, but still, It works with my dark side

I have to drive it on the street. Are not bead locks illegal? Or are you talking about simulated beadlocks?
