ifs wheels on a 85?

i was wondering if you need spacers to use ifs wheels on a solid? i can get a set of 91 4runner 15" wheels from a junked one at work.

i have 2 sets of wheels all ready that fit my 85 fine, but i was thinkin it would be cool to have a mounted set of 225/75/15 just in case..

is it worth it to get spacers just for these wheels? having spacers in general is good rite?

Yes you will need wheel spacers. IFS rims will hit the steering linkages.

Question 1995 -2000 Tacoma aloy 6 lug on a 85 SFA

Has anyone put Tacoma alloy wheels ona a SFA? Will they fit, need spacers ? Ive been wanting to buy a set for my 85 and just got a good deal on a set. So befor I purchase them Id like to find out. Both are 6 lug, just worried about my hubs in the front and caliper and what not clearance issues. Any ideas?

You'll need wheel spacers for sure, at least 3/4", most folks run 1.5" with those type of wheels, due to the back spacing.
