Going with the Dueler A/T REVO
Been looking and reading for about 2 months. My wrangler RT/S are not the greatest and they have been asking to go on craigslist for weeks. Anyone hate the Bridgestone revos? I have seen good reviews so far.
going 265-75-16's then guess what guys, I am done modding....
$148 w mount and life balance sound good?

Excellent tires, not cheap, well worth it.
Mine have less then 1,000 on them and so far, I've taken them through a LOT of rain, ice and wet snow. They fare VERY well on these surfances, low and higher speed. Aired down, they work quite well on packed snow also.
I did go through considerable amounts of mud with them...and I wasn't thrilled, but...I HATE MUD and it doesn't matter to me.

Do not get the REVOs, they are crap, I would not even call them an all terrain. The tread is a total street tread, they get clogged in the mud, have weak sidewalls, and wear fast.

Well, that's...a bold statement!
Looks like you disregarded a LOT of threads and evidence on this forum and elsewhere...very informative on your behalf.
The REVOs are not MUD TERRAIN tires.

Screw that. i have 80 k and counting on mine in the past 4 years and i dont have any problems excpet that maybe i should have rotated them more often;D They dont do so well on the mud but everything else rain, snow(except when your talking footage) works great.

Yeah I dont need a mud rover. Need a good all-season that lasts well. I am 80% highway and 15% dirt/trails 5% snow/mud
thanks for the comments

Impact of Speed on Tire Wear
The speed is in Kilometers per hour, but 110 KM/H = @ 70MPH
Now this graph may be a little bit on the conservative side, but even still, if you had someone that drove very fast on a regular basis and add to this a bad alignment or under/over inflated tires then you could easily get trashed tires (of any brand) in 8K miles. I don't think that one case would prove that Revos are a bad tire.
That being said, Revos used to be THE hot tire to run, but people have been gravitating towards other cheaper brands (like the Nitto Terra Grapplers, Yokohama Geolanders or Kuhmo Road Venture A/T's and of course the classic BFG AT's are always a good choice too) as the Revos price started to go up from its popularity on www.tirerack.com and other sites. It is still a very solid performing tire.

I have 20,000+ miles and no problems whatsoever. Of course, I properly inflate mine and rotate them and keep the truck aligned, but why bother believing a story that contradicts somone who trashed his tires in only 8k miles....

My Revo's are freakin awesome. I love them, although they were extremely expensive..... and I feel they were well worth it. Road manners are top notch in terms of handling, hydroplane resistance and snow/ice driving.
I've also taken them through deep snow and they did awesome. Taken them through mud too(not super deep though) and they didn't let me down, although I've never really treked into any serious mud with any other tire before that with the truck so I don't have much to compare it against prior to my Revos(Mud destroys stuff, so I try to avoid it usually).
I have about 5K miles on mine yet and they haven't worn down even a single noticeable amount yet.

Revos don't quite have the off road edge the Nittos or the BFGs have but for a daily driver that sees alot of miles a year on pavement the Revos are a better choice and they have a pro rated 50k mile warranty.
