Can't decide on a tire
I want to put some 31s on my P/U and I can't decide between the Toyo Open Country A/T II and the BF Goodrich All Terrain K/O. Both have a pretty good warranty and say they are both good for on and off road. Which one would you choose and why?

I think I'll most likely end up getting the Toyo A/T II tires. They have the best warranty and the best price. ($155 a piece from 4wheel parts) But it will be a while before I end up buying so I may end up changing my mind.

Not sure about the Toyo AT's but the MT's have good traction till about 50% tread left then they seem to have a reputation for being hard. And that should reduce traction in theory. So I maybe I might suggest the bfg's or goodyears. Look at tirerack.com for price. Usually discount tire will match the price once shipping is included. And you can get the road hazard protection.

I run 35" Toyo M/T's and can say that they do REALLY well on dirt, gravel, and especially MUD. Won a local mudbog running them.
My cousin runs the Goodyear Wranglers year round on a 1 ton and they last a loooonnng time. Excellent traction too!
The Toyo A/T's didnt hold up as well as the Goodyear Wranglers, but they did grip really well!
I would say for big dirty boots go with Toyo M/T's though!!
