anyone ever have dick cepek tires before

i am considering a dickcepek fc2 radial for my tow rig.... this truck see's about 80% street driving with the occasional baja trip and it's very heavy (an 04 dodge cummins 2500 4x crew cab with cabover camper) i'm debating between these tires and the bfg all terrains..... i'm leaning more towards the fc2's because the bfg ats i had years ago picked up every little rock on the dirt roads and flung them at the cab(too much siping)... but the bfgs are a damn tough tire... i'm sure someone here has had some cepeks so i'd like to hear any opinions
thanks

The Toyo open country ATs are getting good reviews and are very reasonably priced IMO. I am sure they make a 17 tire for your Dodge.

Id say go for the Dick Cepek's. i thought about trying a set myself. they look sweet. i usually see them on full size trucks like yours though or old K5's and the similar. the BFG are nice but i dont think theyre amazing. the FCII's look up to a challenge, they look tough as nails. go for it.

What's happening Mikey. I put a set of 31x10.5 FCII's on the 'ol lady's 4Runner and have been real happy with the ride quality, wear pattern and just plain looks. They have a killer tread pattern. Just look into the load rating for a rig like your Dodge. I'm looking forward to trying these in the dirt but can already tell they'll grip like a mother. Considering I have the BFG's on the Taco it's still a tough call. I hear you on the rock spitting ........

Those look alot like MT/R's... Pretty neat looking tires. I myself have Michelin LTX/MS on my 91 4Runner. They are the best on-road tire I've ever driven with. My dad also has them on his 01 Dodge 3/4 ton (cummins 6speed). Gotta be careful with them though because too much peeling out causes the rear tires to lose tread fast; of course I don't have to worry about that with a 3.0
