It does, because along with getting a taller tire your getting a wider one meaning that its a quarter heavier than the 32, meaning its going to be more of a bitch to pull, trust me I had 33's on a 3.0 Auto for a while, it was like driving a torquey go-cart.... get the 32's, my pop's rollin on them right now and there not that bad.......but then again regearing is also cool cuz then you bigger and bigger tires, sry just dreamin, i need money first

My rig had the stock 4.56 and it wasn't bad with 33x10.50 ... 4.88 is a lot better though!

 

I just went and priced the BFG A/T 33 10.5s at a few places.. think i'm going to go with that.
Lookin at about $165 ish.. oh well, i gotta stop being so cheap, they'll be worth it

 

Did you price sam's club? They sometimes got good prices.

 

Too bad Nittos can't be had in 15"s since they are a much better on-road tire than BFGs and pretty dang close off road and don't cost as much.

 

search around for some good deals, private sellers you can sometimes haggle a little especially if you do alot of business with them i just got my bfg mt's 33x12.50 for $188 a piece.

 

sams club carrys bfg all terrains? il have to check it out but idk if i'l find them much cheaper than 160

i'm running 32x11.50 bfg ats with 4.88 sierra gears three inch lift seems ok clerance is nill and steering no issue but haven't gone out on them yet i'll be posting tomorrow pix and such with my lift and progress of the gearing prosess. got the tires with 90% tred on eagle alloys 15x10 for $450 the next day I saw 33x12.50 bfg mts for three hundred new never been mounted I could have died so take your time and search patiently. (CRAIGS LIST)

Can't speak to the new MT you are looking at.

The AT from BFG is a good tire. I've run them for 8+ years now, in several sizes, and they work great. They handle well in the snow in my experience, and wear pretty well.

Offroad, they are great unless you see a lot of mud, and work well from mild to difficult. Obviously not an amazing choice if you are looking for something hard core.

For your application, they will work well.

 

Probably with shippng and mount and balance would be the same as shop. I'd say get the road hazard too. Where ever you go. I haven't (knock on wood) had a problem with the M/Ts but the passenger tires on our Corolla every one of them has been replaced at one time or another. These tires will never wear out at this rate.

I ended up getting the 33 10.5s. Just thought I would show how it looks! Unfortunately i now have a broken leaf spring and body mount. lol

the roads in NH are horrible right now with frost heaves so i'm pretty sure i just nailed the bumps wayyyy to hard too many times.

 

In my opinion I think if you don't run a mud terrain tire you have no business going off road where I do. Just get some BFG MT's if you drive on the street too, mine hold up great, I run BFG AT's on my tacoma and I DD it...

 

i'm running 31" bfg mall terrains on my daily driver, i have no problems in the snow whatsoever. they pack up quickly in the mud though. i had m/t's on my b/s and they were great for the size, weight of my truck and my style of offroad driving. but as far as a on road and light offroad tire i would have to go with the "mall" terrains. mastercraft coursers are very good but rather loud on the pavement, and will wear quicker than the bfg's. just my 2cents worth
