Buying Tires
hey guys, recently ive been thinking about lifting my 4runner and putting bigger tires on it. i will be doing a lot of trimming on the fenders but i am trying to put 35" tires on it. (R15). i am on a budget and have little money for this project so i am wondering where i can find some good deals on some MTs for my car. i have heard a lot of things like Craigslist, ebay, and even army surplus, but i want to hear what you guys have to say.
thanks in advanced!!

your in seattle so i'd search craigslist in seattle and portland sometimes a drive can get you a big savings. Sign up on NW-wheelers.com too and check the classifieds they have good deals in there too.
Biggest advice from a exp. CL user is get your cash ready and wait for a good deal check for new postings and HAGGLE if you can pass up the deal then its worth passing it up remember sometimes a $100-50 savings off retail on used poo isnt worth the BS wait for a guy in desprate times or sick of the stuff taking up space.
Research research research
haggle haggle haggle
happy savings

This thread has been idle for a while so I'm going to use it for my own question.
I currently have a Lift as described on my sig. My alignment needs work because my current tires are wearing on the outer edges. I plan on returning to stock because I'm sick of correcting my alignment and badly worn tires. Problem is that I really need tires now. I do not however have the money to buy stock suspension and labor to switch out my current ones. My question to you all is, should I wait until I get my suspension back to stock before buying new tires (street tires not for off road), or can I just go ahead and buy my tires now and alignment, and hopefully my tires don't start to wear badly again?
Another question is, should I align first before getting the new tires or get tires first and align it?
I plan on doing an alignment possibly the same day or at least couple of days after new tires if that is the route.
