Anyone Using ARB/Engel Fridge-Freezer?

Do they really seem to keep stuff frozen? Are they reliable? Do they seem to last a lifetime and are they worth the price? Any info from you that have used them would be great

ARB's are great from what I hear. Haven't heard anything bad about an engel either.

Corey has an ARB model.

I got one. It'll keep dead bodies frozen.

Like scuba says, Corey's got one. Here's his write-up in the wiki on it.

Maybe he'll notice this thread and chime in with a review. He's had it for several years now(if he still has it).

Good to know! Will it drain the battery quick?

They are the cats meow.
Whether serving up frozen ice cream bars for summer trail runs, or running it as a fridge for camping.
Upper baskets
Lower section

Low power draw, I have gone for four days without starting the rig while using it, and the rig started up, however a little sluggish.
I now run a solar setup to keep the batteries charged up while camping..

I have a review on it also in my camping gear review thread here, and also on an external blog I created awhile back that covers a little more than the thread above.

Mine is the old style ARB which is identical to the Engel.
ARB has newer ones out now, but I kind of like the older style better.
