swap questions help!!!!!

okay so i picked up a 89 4runner the otherday and i am thinking of doing an engine swap due to the fact that it has 300 000km on it with no rebuild or so the PO says.
i was thinking ive heard of people doing chev small block swaps i was wondering if anyone has done a 350 small block swap or any other small block chev swap for that matter. which would be the simplest but most power?
or am i beating a dead horse and should just go with a 3.4 swap?
so confused.....

I'm pretty sure if you hit the search option, you'll find there are about the same number of 3.4 vs. 350 swaps out there.

Personally, I went with the 3.4 because I wanted to keep it all Toyota. If you have a 3.0, mechanically it's a straight swap with the biggest deal being rewiring some stuff.

If you go with a 350, you're going to have to deal with a few more fab issues, but it will probably cost less. Unless you start cranking out the power and possibly breaking stuff.

Your call. Depends on your ultimate goal with the truck.
