Fuel pump questions

When I first did this swap, I bypassed the in-tank pump and put in an in-line pump. That new pump sucks! So I was thinking about hooking the stock pump back up and running it to a regulator. What have you guys done for a fuel pump. Oh I cant use a mechanical pump as there is not enough room between the frame rail. Also what are you guys running for fuel lines? Hard lines or braided? I just picked up a bunch of fittings and braided line and planning on re-doing the plumbing. I am just looking for some other ideas. Thanks guys!

That is a great question because I am almost at that stage in my 4.3 build. I am planning on running a fuel pressure regulator b/c I also do not want to run a mechanical. If you don't get a solid reply and/or get to it first I will let you know as soon as I get to it.

There are a lot of different combinations of fuel systems that require different pressure. If you don't bother to tell us what you have, all we can do is guess...which is pretty much pointless.
