Any updates? Your runner is sick! Im almost done with the 4.3cpi/700r4/toy4.7 swap in my sas 89 runner. I REALLY like how yours sits with the 60s and 40s! What are you running for lift and whats it measure from the belly?

Lift is Chevy's in the rear with 4" Marlin springs in the front. They have been on the truck for a number of years so they are broke in. I originally had a 2" block in the rear when the SAS was first done. Broke the front springs in and now no lift blocks. I will have to get a measurement from the belly. I do have a Budbuilt skid with a 2" drivetrain lift....

A little update, I discovered both of my motor mounts were completely ripped in half and the motor had started flopping around a bunch. I went with Poly mounts and it does idle a bit more like a Harley now. I also have a Poly Tcase mount.

is there a way to mate a 4.3 vortec to an '89 4runner 5-speed case? does someone make it or would i need to fab it myself?

Check advanced adapters if not fab it but it will not hold up behind a 4.3 for long
