91 2wd om617 swap

Whats up guys gonna start a build thread here on my swap. My yota is the complete opposite of your guys' firstly its bagged and body dropped fully shaved and getting an om617. Using the tdswaps kit it actually fit very nicely besides a few small things like the power steering mount an throttle adapter.

So I realized my steering damper is gonna go into the cast oil pan. So would there be any issues by me mounting the one end lower?

I just took mine off. It drove just fine with 33's on it. Didn't even really notice that much of a difference.

Might have to just take it off. Do you think It'd cause problems by lowering the frame mount?

No you should be fine. I don't think the placement is very critical On the steering stabilizer. Are you going to go for a hood scoop on your truck. Your engine almost looks like a blower sticking out of the top of ur truck. Looks mean!!

Im just gonna lower the frame mount on it. Feel like I should keep it. For now im just gonna cut a hole in the hood. It does look mean sticking out like that. If I ran a hood scoop it would have to be reversed and I think itd look funny cause the back of the motor will clear the hood

You could always take some Cardboard and mock up with you like. Then just glass over that Once you get what you want. The possibilities are endless. Good luck with your build man.

Ya they are its gonna be primarily a summer/spring vehicle. or whenever its or raining. So the hood doesnt really bother me. Theres really no way around the hole thats for sure. Thanks man. Its coming along slowly

Got the motor in finally with the clutch and flywheel. Just need to get some belts and figure out where to mount my oil cooler. Plans were in front of the radiator but I forgot about the electric fans so now I need to find a new place. Anyone know the part number for the belts?

There's something wrong with your motor mounts because I have TDswaps motor mounts and my motor is way lower than yours granted my truck was a V6 truck to start and it is 4WD but still just look at the difference.

Nope motor mounts are good. Truck is body dropped and has a Z. So motor is pushed up higher
