Huge fan of the (1.9 ALH) TDIs here...Happen to own one myself and have modded the hell out of it. I drive it like I stole it and still get 40-45 MPG.
I have some interest in dropping one of these into a 4Runner as well, but am concerned about gear ratios.
I'll be watching and will post if I see anything pertinent.
