So I have an 85 Toyota pick up with the 22r, I ran into some complications and it is not currently running. A few days ago the opportunity to get a 2-wheel drive pick up with the RE motor in it. I was wondering if I could take that motor out and put it right in with no trouble, smog wise as I live in California and as everyone probably know is pretty famous for strict smog laws. Could really use some help on the matter would be great. Need to know if I can put it in and go get it smoked with no problems. Thanks

Same year trucks?Swap wiring harnesses and everything from re truck to non re. Even the cowl wire will be diff. Pretty good job,I hope you are up to it.
