Have the parts on the shelf just haven't tackled it yet. Prepping for turbo mid spring and making room for 38s. Will continue to update. But engine is amazing. Pulling a solid 25 mpg with 37s driving like a little kid.
Hey there Alpine, just checking to see if your around to help out. I'm just inquiring about maybe a list of parts you used in a short form, ie years and models of parts and maybe a wire diagram. I will be starting my swap into my 1st Gen soon and just need a little help creating a list. Thanks for any help.

hello everyone sorry for reviving a old thread but I recently finished 2tr-fe swapping my 1988 pickup. so a few things that were not covered by OP were wiring. for the sr5 cluster I retained tach functionality by doing the 10k ohm resistor trick that the 3rz swap people do. for the underhood wiring I opted to redo the wiring for all the engine fuses and relays because the taco fuse box is integrated into the dash harness and I really didn't want to deal with swapping that in. it is also possible to keep a/c/ I made custom hoses and reused the taco compressor and it works. in the near future I am going to get a VSS adapter so I can get mu cruise control working. currently I have done 10-15k miles on my swap. the truck is a daily driver and does 2000+ mile road trips on a regular basis. if anybody has any questions feel free to ask. I also have a few YouTube videos on my swap and I am very active on FB.
