What is the fuel can on the passenger side fender for. The problem im haven is i bought a 87 sr5 with a 22ret and the engine was junk then i bought a 81 frame that had front and rear axle with agear reduction done to it and a rebuilt 22r on it so i done a sas and used that engine and it runs fine. Then i pulled the fuel pump out of the tank and just run a ruber hose to get fuel and that seems to work good except when it sits for awhile you have to put gas down the carb to prime it and i was wondering if that can mite have somethin to do with it looseing prime
