i think what hes saying is the mounts that would be used in the conversion should work for the T100 as well as the trucks

swap kit/test truck for sale

Sorry it has been awhile, we have been busy at the shop. as far as i know the t100 mounts are the same and room should not be a problem.

It has been snowing on and off here so i have had a chance to use the 4wd. it works good. really good when the pavement is dry and i can put all the power to the ground. funny thing is it goes like many of the mid 400rwhp supras we have built.

p.s. I am ready to do a 2000-06 tundra so.....my truck is for sale on ebay right now, item #140187393724 let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Rory

No the T100 and Hilux (small pick-up) have the same motor mounts...
This kit includes new motor mounts for the supra engine to mount into the pick-up.

Depends on the tranny, if using stock, it's gonna be the stock gear ratios.
if he's using the supra gearset in hit tranny, the final gear ratio is around the same as a 85-2004 auto tranny (.7:1 instead of .85:1)

what i really want to know is how the motor behaves at these rpms. i bet it pulls pretty hard even in 5th on the freeway but i was hoping for some insight based on his actual experience with the 2jzgte motor.

I really wish that you would have been selling that truck a year and a half ago, I would have bought it in a heartbeat

As easy as just extending some wires? Is this swap possible with an 87?

Any pictures of the motor mounts? How easy would it be to swap an automatic 1jz with your kit?

All you guys posting questions would probably be better off calling the shop and asking, I'm not saying that he won't come back, but it has been two months since his last post

It works awesome!

The only tape that I have is an adapter that goes out to my ipod, like the old school ones that everyone got for thier CD players before cd-decks were common,

Maybe I should hit up the pawn shop or soemthing, get some C&C Music Factory or Marky Mark and The Funky Bunch

I've been driving mine for a while also.
Great fun, never problems, lots of torque at low rpm and amazing power from 4000-4500 up to 7000 rpm. Best engine I ever had. 16-22 mpg depending on the funfactor. Can't begin to explain how much better these engines are than the 7M series (previous swap).

Got challanged from a guy in a new Lexus RX a short time ago. He never stood a change. After the first shift I'm gone, 78 miles per hour under 8 seconds before I shift into third...
And still haven't fitted the bigger injectors....
Did 113mph easy this afternoon in 4th to loose a VW Golf, bet he was surprised too: hillbill:

Here's the swap, there's a vid in there also.

Would the swap be worth doing if it did not have a turbo???
