Trany speed sensor problem

Trany speed sensor problem

i did a 3.4 swap in a 86 runner. and i put the 4cly tcases behind the auto. so now im missing the speed sensor that feeds the speeed meter and comp info. so theres a check engine light on. does anyone have a way around this.?

marlin sells them to go in the gear driven case. Get ready to bend over for one.

call them up and tell them what you have and they will line you out.

You forgot to wire the speed sensor that is in the instrument cluster head. That will take place of the VSS. If your missing the output shaft speed sensor your SOL.

If you look in the EWD you will see that the 86's speed sensor was never in the transmission.
