Running issues after swap
So here's my original thread I made that has the details of my swap: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f160.../#post50883032
Ive had my motor running now with no issues for several months but haven't been able to drive it until this week. It didn't have any front suspension so I would just occassionally run it every couple weeks. It is a 99 5spd out of a Tacoma with an ORS stand alone harness.
So first time I drive it fires up no problem and sat and idles ok for several minutes. Soon as I drove it and hit the gas hard though it fell on its face and wouldn't go. Let off and let it idle for a minute again and it seemed to clear out. But it started idling around 1600rpm.
So Im still having the same problem. Starts up when cold idling around 1200, but goes up to 1600 when warm. Sometimes won't accelerate but other times it runs like a raped ape. Still with a high idle either way.
For fuel delivery I have a 32gallon cell top feed with a 10 micron EFI filter, then a Bronco II fuel pump, than a 100 micron EFI filter, then -6 line to the stock fuel line. I changed the fuel pump with no difference. Haven't checked fuel pressure yet, but I know there is a lot returning into the cell at idle. I also took the line off after the filter and fuel squirts out but not with much pressure it seems, but a lot of flow.
Also no codes whatsoever, or any vacuum leaks that I can find.
So does anybody have any other ideas? And what should the fuel pressure be at when I check it? Seems fuel related but would like to see if anyone has had a similar experience...

No vacuum leaks and Ive pulled the MAF twice and cleaned it. Looks fine.
When I pull the line for the pickup there is no pressure built up, just some remaining fuel comes out. Shouldn't it hold pressure even once the pump is off?

I really don't think its the MAF. However is it possible for those to be backwards? It is mounted upside down but should be in the correct direction.
Going to test the fuel pressure first today and if thats fine, then Ill test the MAF. Then move to the IAC, TPS, and the throttle body if the MAF is good.

So its not fuel pressure or fuel related. That checked out fine. MAF, IAC, and TPS are also working within specified range. Going to start chasing grounds and look for any loose wires tomorrow.
Only code I have gotten so far was po500 which I believe is speed sensor. Which isn't hooked up so no surprise there.
This is getting frustrating...
