Need TPS help!
Ok so I think I may have f***ed up a little.
History:
89 single cab
98 4runner 3.4 (auto donor)
96 tacoma 4x4 MT ecm & harness
Here is where I ran into trouble, As some of you may know the 98 4runner used a 3 pin TPS (top two pictures) and my harness called for a 4 pin TPS (lower 2 pics). I believed the pn was 89452-22080 for the 4 pin, so i ordered one... biy the way it connects to the throttle body is completely different!
If you look at the pictures the 3 pin connects to a flathead looking ens and my 4 pin does not.
Has any one experienced this??
I figure my options are:
A) re pin my harness to run the 3 pin, but i don't know what the forth wire does...
B) order another TPS because maybe i have the wrong part number?? anybody have that info?
C) get a different wirring hanses and ecm combo and re-wire my truck...

Yep, that is what i am doing, 89 Truck ~ 97 4Runner 3.4L ~ 95 T100 ECU and harness.
I just swapped the TB and am going to trick the ECU for the EGR Temp sensor... 2K resistor if I remember right...

Yeah that was my plan as well as far as the temp sensor. There are two mor sensors that I'm unsure of, one is right next to the egr and appear to be part of the same system, and another one is up by the front of the manifold and goes to a breather valve not used in the donor 4runner. Any ideas on what to do with these? Trick them as well? When I pulled my harness from the scrap yard I took all three of theses sensors too, I can post pics for clarification if needed.
