i have a few questions ab my 3.4 swap... pls

well to start i have a 1990 std cab 3.0L 4x4 5speed.

just got a: 01-04 3.4L w/ full motor and under dash harness and ecm...

questions:
1. would headers clear my tortsion bar?

2.can i ran the motor W/ its 3.4 motor mounts?

3.am i better off using and converting my 3.0 underdash harness? or use the 3.4 unederdash harness?

4.can i use the same fuel line and fuel pump?....

any help would be very helpful thanks

5.are all clutch accesories interchangable?
flywheel,pressure plate, clutch.. ect ect...

it's hard to tell, i'm sure you would be able to mod them to fit with a bit of grinding

the 3.4 mounts are a little to tall if i remember right. I used the 3.0 mounts and they works fine

use the 3.0 dash harness, theres only a few things that need to be re wired. It's not that difficult just time consuming.

depends, do you plan on super-charging? If not the 3.0 pump will do just fine, as for the lines they will work.

"red"]ether clutch will work , but the pieces are not interchangeable, if you use the 3.0 setup you have to use a 3.0 flywheel and a 3.0 clutch .
Flywheel,pressure plate, clutch.. Ect ect...

by headers i meant. the "obx 3.4 tacoma headers" not the stock. would after market ones clear?

2 yeah i figured id have to run the 3.0 mounts, it sits really high ( VVVV)

3..the harness i have no idea what to convert and the threads on here and really confusing:/

and i have 3.0 pressure plate and flywheel... w/ a 3.4 6pad carbon race clutch... would that work?

no the 3.4 6pad wont fit its to large for the 3.0 fly wheel, like i said either clutch will fit but you have to stay with what ever set up you go with, if you wan use the 3.4 6pad you need a3.4 fly wheel and pressure plate. what problems are you having with the wiring? some threads i used as guide lines were dntsdad's and oldgoats they by far have the best wright ups.

umm the harness idk what to hook up or re-splice to connect to the motor... :/ any tips? or pics on how urs was done?
