Gauge compatability

Anyone know if this gauge will work on the 3.4 swap? Just curious since most of our toys didnt come with mpg and other guages. It checks codes too. Thanks in advance on any info regarding this.

The 2001-2004 Tacoma with 6 lug wheels and optional ABS is compatible with UltraGauge. However, when the ignition is first switched on, the interaction with UltraGauge may cause the ABS system to become disabled and the ABS dash indicator will become lit. For this reason, UltraGauge is not recommended for the Tacoma with optional ABS.
This issue was corrected by Toyota in 2005 and later years.

Vital22re has one for his swap, I have been eyeing this one for quite a while. Works well. Good thing he knows how to do the wiring harness. I'll get to keep A/C, cruise, and add the obdII port.

I am down to a couple small parts left. Need the 3.0 frame mounts. (hard to find for a 22re to 5vz swap) Nobody wants to hack them off or let me come hack em off the frame. I still need an ignitor (Deathcougar has one for me) Then I need crossover reworked and harness made and its swap time. Getting close, but I have other projects in front of it. It might be a month or 2 before I can get to it. I am going to start working weekends and that's when everyone else can meet up.

I saw that but wasn't sure if anyone who has a 3.4 swap tried it or heard of it. I think it's a cool product for the price and looking into it. Thanks for all the replies guys.

I have two of these in a gauge pillar in my '88 3.4 supercharged swap.

http://www.plxdevices.com/multigauges.html

I am able to have 8 real-time parameters from the OBDII stream as well as boost and wideband AFM all diplayed all of the time. It also allows for code reading/resetting and looking at most available OBDII pims's.

What is nice is that you only really need one gauge and all of the sensor modules can piggyback to it.
