gasket between the exhaust manifold and crossover pipe

Do you guys put a gasket between the manifold and the crossover pipe? I forgot to put one in and I think the exhaust leak is coming from there. I don't hear it when it's not underload though. Another words, I only hear it when I'm driving but not when I'm just sitting there revving the engine.

I have not use this in this project so far. However, I'm a reasonable man so..I might have a go at it.
For one thing, I'm not taking the engine out again......

I've tighten the three screws that connects the cross over to the manifold. It's quiet at idle and rev without load. It only makes noise when I'm accelerate while in gear.
I'm hoping I can get by like that......

OP, are you using the FSM? Also, use the PN and diagram link in my sig line....it's very helpful for seeing what parts should go where.
