Update: I drove the truck home after swapping the FPS to the intake, and drove it back to work the next morning. The check engine light was still on, so I cleared the code to see if it would come back. So far I've driven it to work 2 more days and around town this morning with no more codes popping up. I am also about a tank and a half through with injector cleaner as well... Hopefully the light stays off.

 

Nice!! No codes is the goal! I'm sure these engines could run for 200k with a slew of codes but having the peace of mind is worth it IMO.

 

My thoughts exactly, plus the dash just looks a lot cleaner without that annoying orange light!

 

Alright, my hood scoop finally showed up! I ended up buying one off eBay that claimed it was for a Dodge Ram, but the measurements looked good and the price was right.
I've only set it on to see how it looks, it's not mounted yet.

 

I think it will look much better painted.
