I prefer the coffee table. That way I have the nice comfy couch.

auto ecu swap

I'm swapping a '97 3.4 with auto ecu and harness into an already manual-converted '95 4Runner with a 3.0 (manual ECU). Would you be able to build a harness to accommodate this swap or should I source a manual harness and ECU?

Naturally it would be easier on both of us if you found a manual ecu and harness. I may be able to help you with getting this and can work a trade for your harness and ecu.

I'm in the some what of the same boat here, except I have an '01 a/t motor going into a 1st gen 89 'Runner that is a factory 5spd & will need a harness also. I'm gonna make some calls to see what I can find for harness and ECU locally, but all I ve heard for my area is the yards that have em only want to let the m/t wiring & ecu go with the whole shooting match & I don't need another engine.

I know each vehicle is different, so where are you getting your information to make this harness? I am all about learning how to do things properly, so any advice would be appreciated. This harness will plug into the factory body harness, then the engine harness, then the ECU?

i'm planning on doing this swap sometime down the road when my engine craps out (i'm at 112,000 miles now so hopefully it won't be for a while) but i am going to start sourcing parts for it now. i'm interested in your harness. what info do you need before you can make the harness?

O.k. guys I am looking for some suggestions on my website. I am trying to come up with a name for the site. The thought as of now is to focus on the 3.4L and conversions. I was thinking TMZ Innovations, but leaning towards 3.4 Store. I am looking to offer parts like ecu's, harnesses, maf's, 02's, headers, and anything else 3.4. What do you guys think?

I use to be huge into honda's and till my honda kept getting broken into all the time. here is so idea you may want to use for your conversion harness.

http://www.rywire.com/store/index.php
so what does this harness do? does this let you keep your factory 3.0 wiring? please explain.
