Oh man, so maybe it's a good thing that I'm having set back with the ref. By reviewing my wiring, I found out that I had wired pin one of MAF (IE1-9) into IE2-9 which is the 4WD lamp. No wonder I kept getting P0100 which is the MAF error.
As a result of a lot of distraction with life stuff, I wasn't able to spend all day concentrating on wiring.....
Oh well, I should be expert in wiring this thing by the time I'm "done" with this swap.

Ps, did I tell you guys that I'm color blind also?...

WOW, color blind, eh? Saw a girl in a movie the other day trying to figure out the wiring on a heist.... She said, "Shut up, I'm color blind, stupid!" hahaha... He just kept saying, "THE RED WIRE, THE RED ONE!" lol.

wow, that's cool though... "CODE SOLVED!" right?

Love it!
The thing about telling people that you're color blind is that next thing you know, you're given a color blind test like they don't believe you.
I never see any conversation that goes like this......
A: I broke my leg mountain biking the other day.
B: Really? Hey, let see if you can walk right now.....

You see what I mean?

Ok, I got up extra early this morning and iron out all the kinks in my wiring.
When I connects the plugs together, the starter wire and tach wire popped out. ......seems like this will never end.
My AC and Cruise next....after I pass the ref though.

WOO HOOOOO! Great news, man! Congratulations.... NOW I know who to go to for input on "CA Legal 3.4 Swap", right? hahaha...

BTW, if I were to do this swap, 1UZ or 3RZ, any swap... I have to go straight to the ref?

Yep. The smog shop is not suppose to touch it until you get that sticker on.
I'm glad that I can go through the process with my integrity intacted. I know poeple that can help me go around the process but then I'll have to keep paying more for smog test...know what I mean?.....

I forgot to add that I had a problem with draining the battery.
I wired the evap switch and the MAF pin one to the 12 V feed before the ignition switch.
I was using IH10 Instead of IH14 for power for MAF and evap VSV.
With only 32 OHM or so between the hot and ground, my batt was drain down to 6 Volts in couple of days. I had to slow charge it back up with the POS disconnected. Re-pin it to the right place this morning at 6AM before the 7AM Appointment....

Another thing I noticed is the backup light doesn't work. I noticed it when the ref. was backing the truck on to the dyno machine.
I'll have to fix that this weenkend. I think it's somewhere in IH1 or IH2 to IE1 or IE2....

IMHO, no. That's a safety issue, not a smog issue. I've been known to be wrong though....

You're probably right.... Unlike XXXtreme and others back east who have this FULL ON safety inspection.... Us, not to much. I was just curious as you had to go to a ref, as to whether they dug a lil deeper or not. I guess they just care about the air portion. Makes sense. BUT, as you said, YOU COULD BE WRONG! ahahaha.

Can't wait to see you out on some trails with it! Love that trailer of yours, too.... Be sure to get lots of pics, k?
