3.4 swap 2000 tundra ecu auto

im about to do my second swap.
is anyone out there running this setup
3.4 swap 2000 tundra ecu auto 2wd, we dont have smog test here. i going to be using a 5 speed manual behind it.. thanks

i was just wondering if it was possible because my first swap i use all manual ecu and repinned auto harness.. thanks i just dropped the motor in today going to do the wirings now will let u know how it goes..

Oh oh oh you are wanting to use the auto ECU on a manual. I read that wrong. I don't think that's gonna work. You're going to need a manual ECU

i am running an 98 auto ECU with a manual trans. just find the NSS (neutral safety switch) wires and solder them together. other than that everything should be just the same as wiring up with a manual ECU. (assuming you are using the auto harness, no need to repin)

i never understood why everyone always said you needed the manual ECU.....

will this ecu go on limp mode if it doesnt detect the auto tran?..

i have read number #5 but i heard the newer ECU revs out lower when its in park or nuetral.. Found out for my self today got it fired up and rev it pass 5,000 so it should be fine..thanks

mine has no issue on anything other than throwing codes for the auto trans that isnt there. everything else works and drives perfectly
