Hey guys. First off, to anyone who is reading this that has posted help or how-to's, I want to thank you for taking time and consideration to share all the helpful information on this site. Seriously. Guys like me who dont (YET!) have much to share or payback to this community probably dont even take the time to stick our heads up and post how much it helps. This site alone convinced me a year and a half ago to buy my truck and soon swap out the 3.0. Having never drove a 3.0, figured everybody cant be wrong. Love it! Even more so than my old 98.

... After reading through this, going back and forth to the before and after pictures i still cant tell if the actual headers were chopped and modified? Or if was there just a custom driver dump crossover made? You'll never hear me brag about my smarts. Main reason im asking is the SWEET donor ive recently picked up has what i believe a aftermarket TRD charger and TRD headers. Was planning on using them. Thought a muff shop could set me up right, chop n weld some of the donor exhaust. (Did i mention it only has 55K original miles??) If slaker is making a custom crossover? Sign me up! If im just dumb to it and i cant use those headers ill sell them and use the money to buy this full custom setup. If thats what this is. FYI, my sweetheart is a 94 xtra 4x4. Need to get this swap done this summer. Trying to get all the stuff ready before garage season. Thanks again for any help.

Chill out man, he's keeping us updated when he can. I believe he probably has other work that makes more money than a handful of custom headers.

Keep on keepin on, Slacker

Pretty cool, I dont want to hijack but I asked a long time ago here on yotatech about headers for my t100 and everyone told me not to bother and that they will just break etc.... I need some input from someone who actually knows!

What do you expect to gain from stock?

Will the ceramic coating break?

And can you build me some?

Slacker, thank you for committing all the time and effort in doing this for all of us. If there is an actual waiting list for these once there ready for retail, can i be added to it?

sorry .. these are going to be for "swaps" with the dump tube on the drivers side .
I'm sure I could build a complete set for you if you were local , but your not . These will have "flanges" , so they will be boltable to your existing engine , from there though , you may have to do some mods !
not positive on torque or HP , but I'm hoping for 10-12 HP with ~ 9-14 torque increase .. only the dyno will tell the truth though .

yep .. kinda sorta got the right bank together , 3-1 is "tacked" . working on the Left bank and the crossover header pipe ..
firewall and steering rod has been " mocked up" so there is no interferance . Trying to get the pipe tube installation , so they dont interfere with the exhaust studs and eventually installation of the headers for our customers . This project has been a huge challange , and over all still not absolute certain I can produce a product I will be happy with . A 40G bender would be the "cats meow" , but i'm not going to do that , so all I can say , is I 'm still working on them

You said in an earlier post that you were thinking $500 for reg coat and $700 for ceramic. Plus shipping of course. Has that changed? Or still in the air until final product?
