tranny fluid flush

getting ready to have the tranny flushed on my 02 tacoma,v-6,auto,4x4- will be swithcing to synthetic atf also- how many quarts do i need guys?? thanks

About 14-15 quarts. I think you use atf for your transfer case so if you're going to change that too, then you should get a couple more. You're owners manual should say how much your transfer case needs.

The 4runner V6 3.4L engine takes 16 qts for a full ATF fluid exchange.

In the back of your owner's manual, check in the back where it says "Specifications" to verify the number above.

thanks!!- i did check the manual- all i saw was the qty for drain and fill.
