Last night i was paralell parking on a hill and i pulled straight into the spot and i went to go into reverse...

at first it wouldnt go in so i let the clutch out..pushed it back in...no go

I drifted forward a few inches...no go

i drifted forward a few more inches...the shifter..seemed like it clicked into reverse.

I pull the ebrake because its a steep hill and i let the clutch grap and pull the ebrake and....I ROLL FOREWARD..the tranny never ingaged reverse i was still in neutral and rolling twards a 2005 GX470...i stoped about 1INCH from the car and i had to have one of my friends walk around the street to find the guy because i couldnt back up and i was gonna roll foreward if i parked..


ARGHHHH

anyways reverse works now but i think its really time to replace the shifter seat..or the whole shifter?
