swap 22r a 22re

I know there is a long thread on this title. I read it and didn't find the answer I was looking for. I have an 86 (carb) and have found a 93 (EFI) donor. What needs to be done to carbaurate the 93 adn drop it in the 86 4x4

Thanks
Bob

wait, you want to go from fuel injection (MUCH MORE EFFICIENT) to a carburated system?

don't do it. put the efi in your truck you will love it. but if your set on sticking with the carb, you have to install both the intake and the ignition system. basically strip the block of intake and distributor and then put the stuff off your old motor and drop it in. good luck.

Why would you want to have carb instead of EFI?

Are you out of gas? Can you hear the fuel pump running in the gas tank when you turn the key on? Go under and listen while somebody turns it on.
