body lift to fit 350?

body lift to fit 350?
I have a 91 extended cab that has a tired 22re,a friend gave me the engine/trans/t-case from a 80's chevy 3/4 ton (truck had a light fire),my plans are to use all of it. my only ? is do I HAVE to use a 3" or 2" body lift?
