I am looking at swapping a little stronger motor into by 85 and have an opportunity for a complete 3.0 out of a 93 4 runner. Is it even possible to mate this to the 5 speed in my truck, and is the motor even worthwhile? Any help would be great. Thanks.

More trouble than its worth. At the very minimum you would need new trans/transfer, motor mounts, harness and ecu from the V6.

 

If you gonna spend that kind of time and money do the 3.4 much better power and after market upgrades available
