22re to 3.0

hey, i'm getting a 4runner with a blown 22re in it.
i could put a 3.0 in it, but is it worth it, how much work is it to put a v6 into a toy that had a 22re? should i stick with a new 22re.
whats the difference in power between the two. can i get a little extra power from the 22re by doing some mods?
I want to put 32's on it, with a 2" lift. will a 22re be enough to push that well?
thanks

you want to do WHAT?! buy another 22re, its a better motor, it doesnt eat head gaskets like the 3.0 does. just keep an eye on the timing chain, it has a tendancy to eat chains. not to say the 3.0 isnt a good motor (some love it some hate it) but the 22re is an overall accepted motor. but since yours had a 22re in it, going to a 3.0 wouldnt be worth it, cost wise, time wise, or performance wise. (the 3.0 only has somewhere around 140 horses, and the 22re has like 119 or something) get my point? if ur goin with a V6, do a 3.4, its the 22re of V6's. it has WAY more power than the 3.0, and much better fuel economy. hope this helps. and welcome.
