cant believe that it has been over a year since i updated this. it is still moving forward at a snails pace, motor is almost back together and I am getting ready to start the front sas first. also the rear spring swap is going to happen first. Pics to come.

You are about in the same place on the engine swap as I am. I'm putting a 289 in my 93' toyota. Just as a warning, I stabbed my motor today for the first test fit and the motor is setting way to far foward. Its looking like I'm going to have to cut driveshafts, modify interior shifter's, move crossmember, and pray that the rest of it goes together.

this is the never ending engine swap. the motor is getting acessories hung this week and then the motor will be set aside while I do the SAS and the Rear spring swap with a ford tank swap. So hopefully we will be back on track and moving. I'm tired of looking at this thing and dreaming about it being done.

And so it ends I sold the runner with all the spring and SAS stuff I had but Im keeping the 5.0HO and the NWOR Bell housing. The 5.0 may go into my 84 latter and if I do that I will start a new tread for that. Sorry Guys I got a 99 runner and the 3.4 and 5speed has plenty of power for me for now.
