Trail Gear SAS Problem!

Trail Gear SAS Problem!
Of course Trail Gear is closed on weekends, so that is no good.
What's happening is the nuts for the shackle bolts are smaller on one side than the other. The bolt can only get through the nut about 3/4 of the way before I cannot go any further. Is this right? It just seems that they are not tight enough, and will allow too much play for the leaf pack.
And, of course, I have no ride to get some, and this is the only weekend I have to do this. Just seems Sh$%ty.
Any ideas, guys?

That is how they lock. Put some muscle into it and tighten them all the way down, they will crank on all the way. You should have 1/4"-3/8" of the bolt exposed beyond the nut when its on all the way.

Oh boy. What a newb move. I missed that. Not to be an excuse or anything, but I didn't receive paper instructions. So I'm running back and forth from the office to the garage. Printer doesn't work either.
Thanks for pointing that out guys.
