Thinking about SAS

I have a '94 ext cab yota with a 4banger. I also have a whole'84 yota setting in the junk that I was thinking of getting the axle from. I dont do any extreme wheeling so I dont need all the things like high steer and the beefier gussets. I;m just tired of wearing out idler arms and things. My question is will the pitman arm thats on my truck work? Also what about the driveshaft, will the one in my truck work or is the bolt pattern different. My plans were to buy the spring hanger kit from allpro (or the likes), and prbably just use the springs from under the '84 for now. I can fab my own shockmounts. I dont want to go much higher with the truck so I dont want the high steer kit. Any thoughts on this? Thanks

I think you are better off fixing your IFS.

i'm not sure how you would use the stock steering (push/pull) with your IFS steering box.

Save the money you need for the sas/gears/lockers/tools/etc...
make a saving plan for said purchases. Do said project.

Then save up for the next mod.

For me its one project per paycheck or save money each check for a future project. and i still have money left over.

Thanks for the info folks. I already have 4.88's with a limited slip in the front. Like I said I dont want to go any higher with the truck and I see that in all these kits being sold they come with the high steer and I see that you have to add more lift to use it. Anybody know of anything else that can be done? I dont mind putting out the money for the parts. I was just wondering if among the parts I have for the steering, if they would work.
