SAS under spring

Has anyone tried to put the front springs under the axle?
I'm thinking about doing this on my 91 4runner sas to bring my hight down.
Any ideas if this will work? will I loose flex?

Find an FJ60 or 62 front end (factory leaf under)and shove it under there. Probably 5 inch lift packs would work the best. Hi-steer is still a no-no. Buy some new FJ60 steering linkage from SOR.
Probably will have better wheel travel than the IFS. It will be super stable on hill climbs.
