SAS Plans, Feedback requested

So, I've started to gather the parts to SAS my '91 V6 Extended cab. Well, at the very least, I've got a pair of '85 front axles, one bascially just the housing, the other complete from hub to hub.

I was planning to go with the All Pro, or Sky kit. Not sure about the rear yet, either an F150 swap, or another kit.

I have access to a V6 elocker diff real cheap that I was going to put it in the front (already have a lockright in the rear). If I am reading correctly, that means going with 30 spline axles. Does this also mean going with Dirty 30s or Longfields? Also, when going 30 spline, can I use the IFS setup from the hubs out (manual locking hubs)?

I'd like to try to set it up so that I can still run 33s on the road, and switch out to 35s when I go wheeling. Is this doable?

Just trying to confirm that I'm somewhat right about this.

Thanks.

All Toyota 4WD Pickups and 4Runners are 30 spline rear axle. SFA front axles are 30 spline at diff, neck down to 27 at birf and then 30 spline at manual hub. Dirty 30s make them 30 spline everywhere.

You can do an IFS wheel hub swap if you choose.

SAS on 33s and your tires are going to look stupid small. Doable, but will look retarded.

Thanks Wabbit
Such a simple answer.
That info just saved me $600 (at least up front).

I'd recommend if the rig will spend most of the time on to road and weekend warrior; put the selectable in the rear and the lockrite in the front. I've run lockrite rear without issue for years but now with an ARB in the rear best of both worlds. I got an Aussie up front. If I spend most of the time on trail I'd gone the other way with selectable in the front.

With the Sky SAS you'll be really high, their site claims like 6.5 inchs total. I Allpro will probably sit just a little higher than mine. I'm running 4" Allpro springs with FROR spring hanger.

I'm running 33's but 35's would fit fine.

Wouldn't having a locker in the front of a road vehicle make it harder to turn, I always thought it was the other way around?

Not sure if Toy e-locker will clear the leaf springs. I think the motor will take up too much room for the springs.

Why would a elocker be interfering with the springs?

The front third member is offset to the passenger side so make sure the motor for the locker clears.
I only have the pic of hi pinion third but you see how close the third member is to the spring perch? Just measure the center of the spring hole to the edge of the spring then see how much room you'll have. Springs are a little wider than the perch.
