How are you liking the 35's and 4.88 combo? I am thinking 35's next but do not want to re gear, maybe 35's, 3.4L and 4.88's are a better setup. best part wit hthat is I lose the 3.0L lol.

Truck looks great, to bad about all the damage on the Rubicon, reason for me right there not to do it lol.

Go 5.29's.

I have a 3.4L, 5-speed, 5.29's, and 35's and it pulls nicely..

On the highway if i cruise around 60-70mph i get around 20mpg..
my rpms are at exactly 3000 at 70mph.. I almost wish I had a little bigger tire so the rpms were lower.

I think either 4.88’s or 5.29’s will be good, but I would honestly go 5.29’s from the start.

Hey Jeremy... cool name...lol... anyway, the 4.88s and 35 are no problem at all. I am glad that I went with them. I do know, it is way better than when I was running 4.56s and 33" tires. I am not sure how it would be with anything bigger.
About the damage, after buying my wife a new car and getting my explorer back, I didn't need the yota for a dd anymore it knida made it easier giving her some battle scars. I still drive it, just can't let her sit for to long...lol.. anway good luck with your decision and let me know if you have more questions.

Well I won't be in California forever, I really want to get back to the east coast. You know my next step was gonna be dual cases and I just couldn't see putting another 2K into it.

But I do know that my next project will be built from drivetrain up and not suspension down. I have learned a ton about offroading and will def do it again. But just not now. I still come on here everyday and see what people are posting, just a habbit that I have to break.....lol....

I will be on the east coast by then, so I am thinking a great trail rig. Rock Crawling isn't as common on the east coast. It will be a 4runner though, not another pick up. But as we all know things change...lol...
