Couple of 80 axles in a 4runner and pickup
Here are are couple of rigs I helped buddies out with. I'm a cruiser guy so I have piles of 80 parts. So I helped out some buddies with putting 80 parts into their rigs. both rigs where built on weekends out at my shop. turned out pretty well and was relatively cheap because we used a lot of stock 80 parts.
88 4runner 80 HP e-locker up front and 4runner e-locker rear. Currently has 22RE and W56 but a 3.4L and a R151 are sitting in the shop just waiting for some spare time.

Yes. Used stock 80 coils, radius arms, panhard, forward swing steering box, shock towers, tie rod, drag link, etc. Just cut everything off of the 80 frame and made it work on the 4runner and mini truck frames. Frame widths in the front are actually very close. Caster is a little off but we will be putting some caster correction in them in the near future. Main reason for using the stock 80 stuff was to save some cash. I frames and things sitting so it is much easier to source the parts. Also I don't think they will have a problem with breakage in the front end since their rigs are so much lighter than a 80. Birf's and things are all a little beefier than mini truck axle's. Although not in the pic's we used IFS hubs with the longfield inner gear so they have locking hubs up front.

Thats really cool i might be doing the same to my truck do you have any pictures of the coil mount to the frame and radius arm to the frame or could you describe how you did it. Did you use the balistic adjustable mounts?
