Boomerang Shackle Question

I did a straight axle swap on my 4runner and the shackle angle is about straight up and down. If I used Boomerang shackles will my ride get softer? or will it stay the same. The shackle eye's would be in the same location so I'm thinking it wouldn't make a difference.

Won't change anything with the angle, in fact the boomerang will be angled forward in that case.

That design is for use where the shackle angle is too far back and contacting the body mount brackets or hitting the frame. So by having the upper part of the shackle drop straight down then angle back below the body mount bracket solves the clearance issues.

What springs are being used and how far forward was the front hanger installed?

Thanks man. I'm running 1/2 ton chevy springs minus the bottom 2 leaves. I had to cut a little off of the body mount bracket to set the sleeves into the frame. I might just use different springs or try mess with different shocks.
