From the reviews on Pirate4x4, compared to Longfields the BEK is an absolute waste of money.

30 Spline Longs........

Keep in mind, the '81 axle has basically zero factory gusseting. You'll probably want to truss it. In fact, Waskilly right above me can set you up with everything you need.

Wabbit,

Are you paying him?!? If so, I will shamelessly promote you too. I'd do it for a discount on parts and some huge stickers to place on the side of my rig...

i bought the BEK...hated the brass bushings and the extra noise.....along with other issues.....i then scrapped the BEK and went with 30 spline longs...

Now i can carry a stock birf setup for a spare (if i ever need it) and not have to deal with the brass bushings and spindle differences.

Longs the first time....worth every penny

the BEK is like a stock dana 44 not much stronger than a stock yota axle. go with longs aspecialy for 140 more are you kiding??? longs all the way dont touch the BEK youll be disapointed in the end plus the longs are life long warenty and are damn near imposible to breack

What kind of noise? The hub side of the axle?

And what if i went with some chromo u joints instead of having a greasy mess on my hands everytime something goes wrong in the front end?
