1 ton axel swap
#1
My friend had a bunch of spare yota parts and was gona go scrap them till I yelled at him because I would love to have them.
He GAVE me a 1 ton rear end from around an 87-89 yota truck, most likely an old uhaul or something with brand new 3.83 gears. I was planning on regearing my truck to 5.29s this summer, So the full floaters will def be stronger, and the 3rd member looks the same, I think unless told otherwise
Question is - My other friend told me tonight that since the drums have the studs on them, that it is a different lug pattern than my 81 4x4 truck currently has, and I will have to get different rims, is he correct. Because I thought that Toyota kept all the lug patterns the same for a billion years.Any help would be appreciated. i looked at other sas swap threads but this didnt come up
