I dunno. Doesn't seem to be too much interest from NM crowd.

Currently, I can go on Saturday for sure, and I'm working to get the front 2/3 of Friday off. That is why I proposed the Tank Trap on Saturday. I know we can get stock rigs through there if we take our time. We got Jayson's rig through there with no issues, plus there are plenty of play obstacles for the larger tired group.

Depending on where one lives in Santa Fe......

TT is about 30 minutes from my house.

I think I have (or rather I've been told I'll be there) to attend a b-day party at my house Friday (late afternoon/evening). My pastor is throwing a surprise b-day party for his wife at our house. So, I should be there for that.

Friday morning and a good portion of the day I think I'll be open......

I'll be running TT This weekend to get a good feeling of how long it takes, and where the good spots are for obstacles.....

When we did Tank Trap a few weeks ago we met at 9:00 AM in SF and were off the trail by 4:00 PM. It was a nice day, we played on what ever we wanted to and took our time.

I would like to do some of the trail in Socorro, that should be fun!

I would vote for TT on Saturday, and maybe an early morning run to Socorro on Friday. I've got a few trails in mind, but I have not pre-run them yet.

BTW Jim, I found the socorro files you were asking about. Care for a copy?

Are you guys planning on a run for Sunday? I would really like to run some trails in Socorro again! I would also like to run Jaws of Death sometime, I've seen pics and it looks like a great trail..

What about sunday?

I don't know if I'll be able to make it there on friday myself. Its a good two days drive from Houston and I was hoping to spend at least a day (hopefully two) days there as one of my friends from college was diagnosed with cancer a year ago and he been a roller coaster the last year. I just got word that they are keeping him in TX another quarter so I really want to see him. You guys are more than welcome to wheel friday, but like I said... I'm not sure if I'm going to make it. I was planning on being there mid-late day friday and shoot sat/sun + however long into the following week.

I'm still in for the moderate trails, however probably not hard because I'll be selling it in about a month (unless there are bypasses). I'm ready to start spending money on a bigger and better 4Runner!

Tank Trap can be moderate if you want it to be. There are bypasses, but you may get a few minor scratches from the brush.

Hey Brian,

Glad to see you made it to Toyatech. I would like to do Sunday as well, Socorro would be nice. JOD would be good too, but I'd like to see something new.

Austin, hope you friend is doing better. My mom just had a round with cancer and beat it this time.

As for wheeling, My only day for real wheeling is part of Friday and Saturday. I have a ceramony that I'm in on Sunday, so I'm out for Sunday. As it is, I'm bailing out on the ceramony rehersal on Saturday so I can wheel. Figure I can wing it on sunday.

No pressure for for Friday. I may go to Socorro to scope out the medium and hard trails. I have done some of them already, but I just don't know which ones.....:pat:

Austin, you may be interested in getting some body damage video footage of the TTORA guys in Socorro. I don't know what their schedule is, but no doubt, they are hard core and can show you a good time in Socorro on the extreme stuff.

Thanks, I'm happy to have finally jumped aboard!
I'm with you on "something new". Sure Peurco is fun, and a great spot for rigs of all types, but Most of us have done it quite a few times. I'll be happy with whatever we run, but you're right, Socorro would be fun.

Because I have to be back in Santa Fe by 4:30pm on Friday 8/4, my plan was to leave Santa Fe early in the morning and head to Socorro to map some of the more doable trails for IFS crowds. I know I can do the extreme stuff, but what fun is that when you're the only one on the trail.....Because time is tight, I was planning on driving to the trail head, and walking a few trails, just to get them mapped, and then maybe driving one.......

Your a funny guy. I have been to your house, parked in your driveway and looked at your truck. Met your wifes Mom etc.

I know what you have, you have no clue what I have. This is going to be outstanding.

not meant to be an insult towards you. I just want to see that we can get as many willing people on doable trails as possible.

BTW, did you hear from Craig in ABQ? I sent him to you for a complete 3rd Gen lift kit. He should be giving you a call soon.
