Whipper Snapper Summer Meltdown 4Runner Jam

Ok well to get the small talk about Tellico off of the Fall Crawl thread and to get some organization going I'm starting this thread.

It seems as if there was intrest from the "wipper snapper" SE4RJ alumn about heading to Tellico in August. So lets try to get a date picked and make a weekend of it. The dates I'm looking at are:

August 18, 19, & 20th
or
August 20, 21, & 22nd

Post up your preference and or reasons why if you have any, I can do either date as of right now. Before or the day after clases start for the fall, trying to make sure the workload doesn't follow me there. There is also a poll on the dates, so please respond and do it democratically.

For any Tellico first timers, most of us have intrest in running the harder trails this time though, there should be plenty of spare seats for those of you who want to ride after you reach your comfort level in your own rig, so ALL FIRST TIMERS ARE WELCOME.

The 13-16th option in the first thread worked best for me

Wow this is the last time I ever try to organize dates, I suck at this. I was shooting for the last two weekends in August to give myself a better shot at being ready and a little less workload from my internship. As far as I'm concerend whatever works for Rob is fine with me. I'll PM Greg and see if he can respond to the thread. Was Marc interested in coming for this run?

I might be in.....I'll have to double check when I'm up at school tomorrow night. Hopefully we won't have any recruitment stuff going on.

It's looking like the amjority is felxable, so I'm leaning towards the wekened of the 18-20th. The sooner we get a date the sooner we can call all call and make reservations.

Since this seems like a relativly small group I'm curious as to who would be up for all of us splitting the cost of a cain? It's halfway into Tellico and there's nothing like having a coolshower and A/C to come back to after all day on the trails. I could figure out prices if I knew how many were open to the idea?

Just giving you a hard time Scott! Whatever dates you guys work out, then I'll try to be there-this time of year everything is a last minute decision for me.

I like the cabin rental idea. But I am like Bret, I plan to go and hope to go but it could always change at the last minute (self employed). Since it is a weekend I am pretty sure I can go.

Very sorry I missed the last one. But my 4R isn't heavily modded and serves as the DD, so I'd have to puss out on anything you guys would probably do. I'd be great at keeping the beer warm, though.

I'm good with the 18-20th.

Thanks for starting this thread Scott. I've been so busy with work and the new house.

On the easy stuff no problem with sliders. You could find a seat for the other stuff.
