I'll prolyl be taking you up on that offer once we get there, after the summer I've had a weekend away and a cold beer is exactly what the doctor ordered.

DANG A KEG? I can't drink keg beer anymore, too old & hangovers last 2 days... Plus I'm a lightweight anyway since I cut back from my drinking days. But I do love a cold Heineken.

Shoot I'm a "young'n" or "whipper snapper" if you ask Wabbit and I also prefer to not over drink. I'm with your Ryker, I'm a lightweight, and hangovers last too damn long for me personally, to have them along on the trip. I'm just kicing a few colds beers back to relax, I dont' want party and ruin the Tellico experiance.

If your age is still less than your waist size...you're a whipper snapper.

Yeah that's a big reminder for EVERYONE, Murphy is a dry county, so if you want something to drink, make sure you stop way before you get to the area of NC, some are dry and others wet, it's a craps shoot once you get there. Best bet is pick it up at home before you leave.

HAHA I love that Wabbit, very whitty. Looks like I'm gonna be a "whipper snapper" for quite a long time then.

sounds good.. I might just bring a case of heines. Am I going to have to worry about my rear bumper? I saw fireteachers rear bumper from that thread in the trail report pics section. Dont want to have to get anything repainted again plus im not gonna go all out with tight curves either

Your Runner is the 2WD one correct? If you are and if your worried about damage then I would definately opt to keep it at the cabin, damage will happen out there, and especially in 2WD locked or not, it's gonna be tough, I just don't want to BS you and say all will be ok. Uwharrie is one of the easiert places around, and I did the most damage I've ever done to my truck there(bent lower control arm a full 90 degrees, dented my rear bumper, layed the drivers side on a large rock TWICE), it can happen anywhere is all I'm saying.

That's the outlook to have, just go for it and let come what may. I think the only ones that really get damage are the ones that push the limits, not the ones just out to make it through, like most first time Tellico people. I was fine my first time out, jsut one little dent, but once the trucks damage virginity has been taken, it's just that much easier to push the envelope.

Put my name on the list for being there for sure. Finally getting everything finished around the house so I can work on the new truck.

Well I ran the "easier" trails at SE4RJ3 because of my setup & I still trashed an inner axle seal & probably would have grenaded a birf given the chance, (Wabbit & Seaflea came to the rescue). I also crunched my rear bumper & passenger front quarter panel, & I'm on 39.5s & a good foot of lift, so it will happen...

Wabbit at work:

The carnage:

Just be ready for damage, it's going to happen. I know I will have some battle scars...

Glad to hear it Greg, I was starting to worry after not hearing from you in awhile. The countdown begins.

Good example Ryker, I forgot all the carnage you accumulated, and you were one of the largest(tires and lift) ones there. All that height and power and the rocks still managed to get to ya. Hopefully this time aroudn the trails will be better to you.

Good to know you've learened your lesson the hard way, it's THE best way to learn. That's jsut one less thing you have to worry about in Tellico, you've already bit the bullet once, so the dings you'll aquire there shouldn't even phase you.
