Yes, I wheeled with a Jeep!! Never thought I would, but it's my dad's. It's not a very capable truck, b/c of it's lack of ground clearance. I guess we can't say too much for the '03 4runners either. Clearance wise, they're about the same.
There are thousands of trails out here, but not too many hard core ones.

2 hours I think. It's a lot closer to the Sumas border crossing, near Abbotsford. These specific trails are near Mission, BC. I don't think it would be worth it to go to this specific wheeling spot (Lost Creek FSR) all the way from bellingham, but there are many other places to go.

Nice, that looks like fun. I'll let you know the next time the 4Runner & I are in B.C. Maybe we could meet up & you can show me some trails there.

Mike,

Questions......

Where do you go to offroad?
Is Eagle ridge still open?
Where did you go for that view of Vancouver in your web site?
When's you next trip?

It looks like you know a lot of areas to go offroading. We gotta hook up some time. Maybe when HBoss is in town.

Eagle ridge is closed right now. A key program is being set up for the gate. You will be able to buy the key from the city of coquitlam. I don't know when that's going to happen though.
As for the pic of vancouver - that was at the top of eagle ridge. Wicked trail. I'm very sad that it's closed now. But there's plenty of other places to go. When am I going next? I am not too sure. Whenever I have off from work and have people to go with. I want to do a run to Mt. Thurston in late July cause any sooner and there's too much snow. I think it's about 3500 ft up. That's out closer to Hope but on a clear day you can see all the way to the ocean. Very rewarding trip. No set dates yet.
