Twin Cone pics.

Hay went up to Twin Cone with some people from Colorado4x4.org today and had a blast. Just wish I got up there a couple of weeks ago the colors would have been outrageous. Here is the link to my pictures.

Sweet! Where is twin cones? Those are the kind of trails I want to drive, no shelf roads... How hard were the trails for your truck? It looked pretty well stock, so do you have any mods? I'm stock, and the only thing in those pics that would make me shy away are some of those larger rocks and ruts. Maybe they aren't as big as they look...? Anyway, nice pics!

Twin Cone is south on 285 to the top of Kenosha Pass - campground is on the right side, trail is on the left - just turn left off 285 through the cattle guard and on down a bit is a picnic area and some restrooms. The trail is on opposite side of the restrooms (you can get better directions form 4x4trails.net). This trail is about a 6 or so and you should be able to make it. I have no mod and there where only two spots that I had to try again. There are a few steep hills with loose rocks and dirt which have bypasses which I used (until I get lockers). Out of the other rigs two of them were stock the s10 and the jeep Cherokee. Another trial you may like is slaughterhouse which is only about 24 miles south of the 285 and C-470 intersection. I am doing that one tomorrow.
