Tellico Run!

Does anybody wheel there, because I've been there quite a few times, but would love to go with other folks in Toyotas. Anybody be interested?

Not many of them, that's for sure. We've done parts and all of some of these trails: 2, 5, 6, 7, Rough Crossings, and Fain Ford. Have you ever been?

Mine current vehicle hasn't graced the presence of Tellico, but it will soon. It's going to have 3-3.5" of lift by the end of this week, and the factory rear locker among other things. What does your' have on it?

You're crazy! Your's is way more modded out than mine. You could easily do the trails I mentioned at Tellico. Do you live close to it?

there are some people in the n. georgia area who go about 2 times a year or so, groups from 4x4wire, ttora ga, solaris, ga cruisers, etc.

im too busy this semester to go, but im sure some others would go if you posted on 4x4wire in the trailrides section.

So, it sounds like 4x4wire is the place to find hardcore wheelers, isn't it? We'll see what happens when I place a post over there.

not hardcore, but more 'off-roaders' hang out there than here.

That's what I was getting at. Sorry! I'll have to spend some more time over there to see what's going on for trips. I appreciate the help!

I'm in Auburn, AL, I'de be up for a run. On a Auburn away game weekend of course. Well, if they keep playing the way they are now, maybe even a home game weekend!

I'll be in Townsend, TN from Dec 26-Jan 2. Then would be good, or sooner and then again would be better!

dragr1,

Cool, I've still got some kinks to work out of mine, which should be resolved this week if I'm lucky, but anytime would be pretty good for me. If we don't have anything planned before you're up in Townsend, let's definitely plan something for then. My email is chrisrademacher@fastmail.fm

Cool, we need a good group of people. I don't want to do anything really hardcore-4Runner happens to be the only personal vehicle that I have at the moment (wife and I both have company vehicles for work). I'm more for mud, good trails and great scenery than for rocks and destruction.

If you're going to be in Townsend, we've got some more options for places to go that are all within an hour from Maryville/Townsend area. I don't know anyone but my buddy that likes to go around here. He has a buggy and a truck, but more than likely, he'll take the buggy. Do you know some other folks that might be up for something from your area?

I'm sure I can find some. We could get together a 4Runner meet from the web.

About the other trails, are they legal? Being a Forester and a Real Estate Agent, I'm not up for any trespassing, I'm only up for designated ORV areas. I won't be able to follow that buggy anyway!
